Commissioner - Derek C.

Duties -

The Commissioner of the San Andreas State Toopers is the head of the entire department. The Commissioner oversees many sub offices of the department including:

The SAST Professionalism and Ethics Division
Patrol Division
Administration Division

In addition to heading the aforementioned sub offices, the Commissioner’s day-to-day duties include:

Overseeing the operation of the entire department
Communicating with external departments to resolve interdepartmental affairs
Managing the department’s fleet of patrol vehicles, including new acquisitions

The Commissioner is also the head of the Chain of Command and will have the final say in all department matters/disputes.

Assistant Commissioner - Vacant

Duties -

The Assistant Commissioner of the State Troopers is the second highest ranking individual in the department. He/she is the Commissioner’s assistant when it comes to department matters, and serves as Interim Commissioner in his/her absence. The Deputy Commissioner is also a member of several sub offices and carries out the following duties:

Chain of Command Supervisor
- Makes CoC recommendations to the Commissioner
SAST Internal Affairs Supervisor

Captain - Vacant

Duties - Captain of Administration

The SAST Captain of Administration is responsible for all administrative tasks delegated to the Commander’s Office. Included in this are the following responsibilities:

Liaison to the Internal Development Team
Liaison to the Development Department
Assistant Chain of Command Supervisor
Direct Supervisor to the Lieutenant and Captains of Administration

Duties - Patrol Captain

The SAST Patrol Captain is responsible for any and all things regarding the logistics of the field operations of the department. Included in this are the following responsibilities:

Department Troops Supervisor
Air Support Liaison
Assistant Chain of Command Supervisor
Direct Supervisor to the Patrol Lieutenant, and Captain.

Duties - Lieutenant of Administration

The SAHP Lieutenant(s) of Administration are responsible for the primary operation and updation of the department’s rosters. They operate in such capacity under the supervision of the Captains of Administration and directly supervise the department Senior Sergeant(s).

Duties - Patrol Lieutenant

The SAST Patrol Lieutenant works under the supervision, and in coordination with, the other patrol supervisors, and directly supervises the department Staff Sergeants. The Patrol Lieutenant is also responsible for leading the SAST’s FTO (Field Training Officer) Program.

Duties - Division Lieutenant

The SAST Division Lieutenant works under the supervision of the Captain . They are the supervisor for all Sub-Division Heads relating to their sub-division. They are to oversee all Sub-division operations. They act as a liaison between Higher Staff and the sub-division heads.
